We Love a Good Dupe.

We Love a Good Dupe.

Who doesn’t love a good dupe? I am all for luxury items, I have invested in many myself ! But with the price increases every year and pending economic recession, I have started to seek out more affordable options to add to my collection. Dupes affords us all the alternatives to our favorite luxury items at a fraction of the price. A win-win situation. Below I’ve found some great alternatives to some of our favorite bags, and of course gathered you some links!

COACH

Okay, Coach is one of my favorite brands at the moment. They have some stunning bags, especially in the flap bag category. I am bandit bag lover, myself. They remind me of the Celines or Chanels of the world, but are thousands of dollars less. You can find them on their official website or even for resale. I use Poshmark often (shameless plug: @aprilla54) and you can find great condition resale and rare finds there. I recommend resellers to find the best deals, some even negotiate the price. Some of my favorites are ShopShops, Poshmark, and Depop.

The Infamous Chanel Flat

We have seen these flats go viral on the internet. Everyone’s trying to get their hands on them. If you have $1300 laying around, good for you. If not, Stuart Weitzman has them at a fraction of the cost! SW is a good brand for comfort and true size fit. If those are still too pricy, Target has a dupe, though in my experience, they are not as comfortable. But we all know… beauty is pain.

Trending Bags

Everyone is loving the Bottega and large tote bags for the Fall and Winter. They can run you a pretty penny if you invest. Amazon has the hook up on dupes that will save your outfit and bank account!

Dupes as a Smart Consumer Choice

At the end of the day, dupes give us more freedom to experiment and stay stylish without the hefty investment. While it’s essential to be discerning and avoid counterfeit products, there’s no harm in finding a cost-effective alternative. As long as you’re aware of what you’re buying, dupes can be a great way to stretch your budget while enjoying some of the same luxuries that high-end brands offer. Whether you’re diving into dupes for beauty, fashion, or home decor, one thing is certain: it’s a trend that’s here to stay!
